I was born in Hertfordshire, England and my writing career began after I finished a Fine Art Degree in Brighton. Searching for a way to support myself as an artist, I began to write romance with a view to becoming a best-selling Mills and Boon writer. I never was published by M & B, but by the time I received the rejection letter, I was hooked!
These days I write women’s fiction, romance and readers for people learning to speak English, and I have been known to go to great lengths to research what I want to write about. In 2012 I completed the Go Ape Tree Top Challenge and also performed stand-up comedy in London. You can read about these challenges on my blog.

As well as fiction, I have written plays and screen plays, and my comedy GODDESS was performed at Cambridge Drama Centre to rave reviews.
I’m hoping to do more exciting challenges in 2014!!
I have an MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from the University of East Anglia, and live in Norwich with my partner and bouncy son and dog.
